September 21, 2009: Traveling to Ohio

I arrived in Alliance, Ohio tonight for a week of field work. This is my Holiday Inn Express hotel room. It's quite spacious and comfortable. I already made a mess.

September 20, 2009: Pulmuone

This is Pulmuone tofu, which we buy at H Mart. There are soup packets you can get to make this really spicy tofu soup. It's quite tasty!

September 19, 2009: Guts of our House

After the demo we did a while ago, we still haven't had someone come out and fix the deck, so everything is still opened up. We should probably take care of it soon ...

September 18, 2009: China Inn

Chad's Aunt Beth and his grandmother have been telling us about this Chinese restaurant for a while, so tonight we met them there for dinner. It was pretty tasty!

September 17, 2009: Our Very Own Figs!

Last year we didn't get any figs on our fig tree, but this year there were tons. I was afraid they wouldn't ripen, but they did! And they were awesome!!

September 16, 2009: New McDonalds

I think they tore down this McDonalds and then rebuilt it. It is on Rt. 73 so I pass it twice a day. It looks totally different than the ones I'm used to.

September 14, 2009: Our Dumpster

We had a crapload of yard waste and other stuff to get rid of, so we rented a dumpster. It was a lot of fun to fill it up! It holds 15 cubic yards, so we were able to get a lot in it!
