October 31, 2009: Halloween Napping

My parents came over for Halloween to help give out candy and to watch the Phillies game. Since the game was delayed it went on late! Mom and Chad fell asleep. Cute.

October 30, 2009: Eggs en Coquette

Chad saw this recipe online and decided to make it. It's eggs and cheese baked in a ramekin with some salt and pepper. You eat it with toast. It was tasty.

October 26, 2009: New CDs!

Deb and Bud gave me my birthday presents tonight and it was great! I got three CDs I've been wanting, including the most recent Portishead!!

October 25, 2009: Time to Rake Leaves

Bud took care of their leaves today, but I didn't. So there was this clear line marking the property boundary. I thought it was pretty funny.

October 24, 2009: Phillies Phever

The Phillies are in the World Series again and everyone has Phillies Phever. Daryl's bakery in Glenside was selling these cute Phillies cupcakes.

October 23, 2009: More No-Knead Bread

I told you I was obsessed. This time we made 2 loaves and froze one of them. It worked out great! Chad added some spices to this one and it was yummy (rosemary and such).

October 22, 2009: National League Champions

Sometime after midnight, the Phillies won their game and became the National League champions! The game was tons of fun - the crowd was just crazy.

October 21, 2009: Insanity at Citizens Bank Park

My dad got tickets for tonight's playoff game, so he, Erin and I went down to the ballpark. Check out the insane crowd at McFaddens!

October 20, 2009: Friendly's Goodbye

We met Aunt Beth and Mom-mom at Friendly's tonight for dinner. Aunt Beth is leaving for Disney this weekend. She's going down for 3 weeks! Can you believe it?!

Wow - what a harrowing weekend we ended up having! Way too much happened to describe here, but needless to say, I was glad to be heading home at this point.

Today was the NY Sheep and Wool Festival in Rhinebeck. It was a bit cold, but fun anyway. Look at the sweet goat!

October 16, 2009: Luna 61

We got up to Rhinebeck today and headed to Tivoli for dinner. We didn't eat at Luna 61 (that's for tomorrow night) but we did walk past and take photos!

October 13, 2009: CD Swap Rhinebeckian Roadtrip

The TSR CD Swap group decided to put together roadtrip mixes to listen to on our way up to and back from Rhinebeck this coming weekend. Can't wait to listen!

October 12, 2009: Revealing the Fridge

I'm revealing the inside of our fridge for the first time since getting our new one. I love this fridge so much. It's so easy to get stuff in and out. And it doesn't leak! Yay!!

October 8, 2009: No Knead Bread

I am obsessed with no-knead bread. It takes some planning (about 24 hours notice) but it's so easy and it almost always come out perfectly.

October 6, 2009: Making Vegetable Stock

I recently discovered how easy and satisfying it is to make my own vegetable stock. I was inspired by veganyumyum.com. I now need to buy a real stock pot.

October 5, 2009: New Lens! Sigma 17-70mm

My parents gave me this new lens for my camera for my birthday. I've been dying for a better lens and this one really delivers. It's a Sigma 17-70mm and I love it!

October 4, 2009: Curry Croquette

The Korean bakery near us (Paris Baguette Cafe) makes these awesome curry croquettes. I had one this morning and it was delicious. I used my new lens for this photo!

October 3, 2009: Birthday Phillies Game

We went to a Phillies game tonight for my birthday. We asked them not to come to the seat and sing for me, but they did anyway. It was a good time!

October 2, 2009: Key Lime Cheesecake

We celebrated my birthday at my parents' house tonight and my mom made me a key lime cheesecake. It's my favorite and it was so delicious. Reminded me of ASIJ.
