This was an extremely interesting piece of mail I received today. It is a thank you postcard from Starbucks. It says that because I'm a loyal customer or something they have added $5 to a gift card I have. Now for those of you who know me, you know I hate Starbucks because they're the devil. Anyway, when Chad and I went around shopping last year on Black Friday they were handing out these $5 gift cards. I registered them online to see if the money was still on them. This must be why I received the postcard. Pretty funny of them to call me loyal when I tell everyone and their mother they shouldn't go there at all. Of course most people don't listen to me ... *sigh*

Further proof is that they are raising their already astronomical drink prices by 3%. Did you see the original Starbucks when you were in Seattle?
ReplyDeleteI have to say though, I have a soft spot for them in my heart because I worked there and because I've made a ton of money off the stock I bought as an employee.
I've got a soft spot as well, considering I used to drink at least 1 or 2 frappuccinos there every week when I lived in Japan. It's where we always hung out! And yes we did go to the first Starbucks.
