Arboretum Visit
Chad and I visited the Morris Arboretum today for a couple hours. It's great to have a membership because we can go whenever we want. We went back in January to see the Witch Hazels and we went today to see what was blooming in the beginning of spring. There were a number of things out (such as daffodils and crocuses) and a bunch of other things that are just starting to emerge. Here is one of my favorite photos from the day. I'm pretty sure this was a peonia plant. I just think it looks really cool with the little multi-colored tendrils! So pretty! You'll have to take us with you some time--can you bring guests? :)
ReplyDeleteOnly once. We get two one-time use guest passes for the year because we don't have a very high level of membership.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny that we pretty much spent our afternoons in the same way yesterday?
ReplyDeleteWe have to go to the Morris Arboretum when we come visit you. I've been wanting to go for years now.
OK--well let's plan a year where you take us! How's 2009, is that free?
ReplyDeleteHaha, you're funny. 2009 will be pretty good for us I think. Especially from spring onwards since I will hopefully be done with my Masters by then.
