Crocuses and Mulch

My mother put down mulch this past fall for the first time and I think it made her flower bed look so much nicer. Here are some spring flowers (crocuses?) that are popping up in her garden and I just thought they looked really cool so I took a few photos. I like the way the green parts look with the white line down the center.
